Year-end Results for 2009-2010 Season

Congratulations to the winners of our year-end championships!

The Bagley Championship (Men’s Champion, 84 teams competed):

Team Sormunen – Seppo Sormunen, skip, Jeff Ritchie, Mike Huska, Hudson Turner and Jess Brozic

The Open Championship (Champion from teams with open or mixed rosters, 40 teams competed):

Team DeVore – Phil DeVore, Jodie Cope, Jeff Gunderson, Linda Lanigan and Jeff Erickson

The Slug Tolo Championship (Women’s Champion, 10 teams competed):

Team Cope – Jodie Cope, Jill Hansen, Lucy DeVore, Jill Brozic and Linda Lanigan

The Remington Championship (Mixed Champion, 14 teams competed):

Team DeVore – Phil DeVore, Lucy DeVore, Jeff Gunderson, Linda Lanigan and Darren Vogt

The Betty Hatch Wednesday Women’s League Champion:

Team Nierengarten – Kay Nierengarten, Katie Waller, Kim Hinz and Shawn Peterka.

UPDATE: World Junior Curling Championships

Team USA Junior Women’s team clinched the Bronze Medal against Switzerland in an extra end. Congrats to Sophie Brorson, Lead for Junior Women’s Team USA. This is the first USA medal for Junior Women since Cassie Johnson’s silver medal in 2003.
