Duluth Curling Club board elections will be held Friday, March 29th during the End of Year Banquet.
This year we have 3 board member positions open (3 year terms). We also have a fourth position open for a 1 year term. ( A board member with a three year term vacated early).

Deadline is March 15th to be included on the ballot!
Voting will be available during regular office hours the week before the election, March 25-28th and during the End of Year Banquet on March 29th. All corporate adult members are eligible to run for a position on the board and vote.

League Playoffs begin Sunday Febrary 25th. Brackets are posted on the ice level bulletin boards and games are posted on the reserved ice schedule.
Reminders:
- Circle Winners on the paper playoff bracket. Online scoring is not available for playoffs.
- Buzzer rule: All games for the first week are played with the buzzer rule. (When the buzzer goes off, you can finish the end you are playing but may not play additional ends) After the first week, main event teams will not play under the buzzer rule. Please keep your games moving quickly so as to not delay the subsequent leagues.
- Ties: If main event games are tied after regulation, a full extra end will be played. For all other games, a one rock draw to the button will determine the winner. (one rock per team, sweepers allowed, closest to the pin wins)
DCC apparel is now available in a new online store with Shirts Unlimited. Orders can be placed until Sunday, February 18th at 11:59pm.

Congratulations to the winners of the Lakeside Curling 5 & Under Bonspiel from this weekend!
In the main event, Team Mellin emerged victorious. They were led by Jackson Purdy, with Taylor Sundbom as the second, Joe Daily as the vice, and Skip Matt Mellin.
The Twin Cities Twisters put up a strong fight and became the runner-up in the main event. Clink Whisler led the team, with Mike Julkowski as the second, Jim Leste as the vice, and Steve Hafeman as the skip.
In the B event, Team Ness claimed the victory. Sean Cummings served as the lead, Francois Begin as the second, Chris Farmer as the vice, and Jake Ness as the skip.
The runner-up in the B event was Cirrusly Fast Rocks. Joe Konicek led the team, supported by Matt Hester as the second, Anna Greatens as the vice, and Jake Diel as the skip.
Sweeping With The Enemy triumphed in the C event. Jim Gaebel led the team, with Josh Friell as the second, Troy Carson as the vice, and Edric Funk as the skip.
Team Vierthaler put up a great fight and became the runners-up in the C event. Bill Quinn served as the lead, Tony Sternberg as the second, Scott Bradbury as the vice, and Adam Vierthaler as the skip.
In the D event, Team Rorie emerged as the winners. Luke Nelson was the lead, Corey White as the second, Simon Nelson as the vice, and Justin Rorie as the skip.
The runner-up in the D event was Button Busters, with Sam Schlater as the lead, Mike Green as the second, Graham Kosel as the vice, and Robbie Hank as the skip.
