Duluth Curling Club Junior Schedule

2014-2015

The Duluth Curling Club Junior Program begins its 16th year in 2014.  Students age 8 to 21 are welcome.  We will offer instruction and games from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Tuesdays, plus time for cleaning of the ice and putting equipment away.  

Season Runs Nov 4th – Mar 17th

October 21 – 4:00 – 5:00 pm Early Registration (no ice instruction)

October 28 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm Opening Banquet and Orientation (no ice instruction)

November  4 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm First on-ice instruction (Participants need to bring a clean pair of shoes. Please see the links below for details)

December 19-21  Elizabeth Busche Memorial Bonspiel in Duluth

December 30  No Juniors (No School)

January 2-4  JR State Playdowns in Bemidji, MN

January 17-24  JR Nationals in Devils Lake, ND

January 20 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm 2015 Lakeside Curling Equipment/DCC Junior Club Tournament Round Robin begins

February  17  No  Juniors (No School)

February 28-March 8  JR Worlds in Tallinn, Estonia

March 10 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm Jr Club Tournament Semi Finals

March 17 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm Jr Club Tournament All Finals  (except “A” Competitve)

March 24 – 4:00  End of the Jr. Season Banquet (no ice time)

Weather Cancellations: If Duluth Schools are cancelled in the morning, Junior Curling will be cancelled.  If Duluth Schools close early or after-school events are cancelled, we will still hold Junior Curling.  But, use your best judgement on whether it is safe to be traveling.  Attendance in not manditory.
