Watch the World Junior Curling Championships!

Kent Brorson will be webcasting from Flims, Switzerland during the World Junior Curling Championships, March 5-14 .

The first webcast of a game is Saturday, March 6 at 2 am against Sweeden. The second game is against Canada and will be Saturday, March 6 at 12 noon. The webcasting site will have other dates available also.

International Spiel Results

Junior Nationals Results

Congrats to Sophie Brorson and her Minnesota team which repeated as Women’s Junior National Champions, beating Wisconsin 7-5 on the last shot of the game. They are now headed to Flims, Switzerland for the World Junior Curling Championships, March 5-14.

We also had two junior men’s players representing Minnesota: Jared Zezel and Johnny Landsteiner. Their team made it to the National Championship game, but lost in the Finals to Washington.

Minnesota State Men’s Results

Finals in senior main event: Perella defeated Medure. B event: Jaminski and Israelson tied. C event: Devore defeated Erickson. Super senior champs: Meyer, runners up Pickett.

Minnesota Mixed Champs!

The Dave Running rink from Duluth won the 2010 Minnesota State Mixed Championship in St. Paul. They had a record of 4-0. Members of the team are: Dave Running, Norma O’Leary, Ron Gervais (Skip), Pam Cavers.

They now advance to the Mixed Nationals March 20-27 in Chicago. See the teams who have qualified.
